In Unit III final year MBBS students are treated as lifelong learners and teaching activities are focused by imparting knowledge, skill and attitude among them .They are encouraged to learn obstetrics & Gynaecology on clinical basis. Ward teaching and OPD teaching is done on daily basis by the consultants. Every student is given special attention during their stay in the unit for the enhancement of their academic activities, regular feed backs are being provided to them to make up their deficiencies. All the clinical sessions are designed by keeping in mind the outcome based learning and learning objectives are first discussed with them. We facilitate leaning in the ward and operation theater, and students can see all the major and minor obstetrical and gynecological operations and procedures. After rotation they underwent a formative assessment test to evaluate that learning has occurred effectively.
