A ceremony was held in honor of more than 35 University Cadre teaching and non-teaching faculty who have recently been regularised by the CM and the Governor of Punjab These faculty members were working on a contract basis for the last many years At the King Edward Medical University.
Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University Professor Mahmood Ayyaz welcomed the Provincial Health Minister Dr. Javed Akram and the Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University and President of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan Prof Khalid Masud Gondal Prof Javed Akram remarked that seeing the regularised faculty members here today is a dream come true. Success in life cannot be achieved without taking risks. I have been trying my best for the upliftment of the doctor’s community. We should thank Allah for all the blessings and now we should wow teach students with a dedication to serve the patients with love and care he said that Mahmood Ayyaz is striving hard to raise the standard of education at King Edward Medical University and bring back the glory and traditions of KEMU.

As a minister, I have high hopes from the faculty members. He promised that he will take every step for the betterment of King Edward Medical University. Special attention is being paid to quality research in the medical institutes of Punjab. Good teachers play a role in the foundation of good nations. Prof Mahmood Ayyaz Said Good performance is key to success, and the faculty proved it in every step of their Success. Their talent overshadowed the obstacles and their exceptional and established skills made the difference. He wished God Speed for epitome of excellence to the faculty and expressed his special thanks to secretary health Ali Jan Khan for his help in all the mater. King Edward Medical University has a prominent position among medical institutions.
Speaking on this occasion, Professor Khalid Masood Gondal said that all the credit of today goes to Professor Javed Akram and Vice-Chancellor Professor Mahmood Ayyaz. There was positive progress in the meeting of the Syndicate and Senate from the very first day of his tenure. Registrar Dr. Riasat Ali was praised for facilitating all the legal matters. Professor khalid masud said that Health Minister Punjab himself patronized on every occasion and credit goes to Professor Javed Akram for all these efforts.
The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz also expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Governor Punjab Mr. Baligh ur Rehman For regularising the faculty On this occasion, the Health Minister also cut the Independence Day cake along with the faculty members. In connection with the 76th Independence Day celebration at King Edward Medical University. In a momentous Celebration of Pakistan’s independence and deep-rooted patriotism, KEDS, KELS, KDS, the Music Club, and the students of KEMU came together to pay homage to the freedom movement.

The event was attended by a large number of students and faculty. Through powerful declamations, soul-stirring national song performances, and poignant patriotic poetry, the event showcased the unwavering spirit of the Kemcolians. It ignited a renewed sense of love and pride for the country, uniting everyone in the shared belief of a strong and free Pakistan that stands tall with its rich heritage and cultural diversity as the institution itself. Dr. Javed Akram applauded and commended the performances of students and pledged to promote the talent of students by providing them with prizes and shields.

Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz urged the students to continue to take part in such activities to infuse a spirit of devotion and service towards the country. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz while expressing his views said that as Pakistanis we as KEMCOLIANS are unique in the whole world. Since 22 thousand KEMCOLIANS are enlightening the name of King Edward Medical University all over the world and Pakistan. we need to take all steps to place our country at the peak of the medical profession in the world KEMCOLIANS is not only prominent in the field of healthcare, but also serves in all the other sectors of society including a very strong presence in the civil services of Pakistan.
