A PRECONFERANCE WORKSHOP 43rd KEMCAANA UK, APNA on Role of Aritificial Intelligence in Research Work conducted in Jinnah Auditorium King Edward Medical University Lahore on Saturday, 9th December 2023 under chairmanship of Prof. Meher-un-Nisa Gyne Unit-4, Lady Aitchison Hospital, KEMU Lahore.

Vice Chancellor KEMU Lahore Prof. Dr. Mahmood Ayyaz was Patron-in-chief. Alumini guest was Dr. Nadeem Mukhtar (renounced audiologist) and Prof. Waris Farooqa (HOD Surgery SIMS SHL) Dr. Ameer Afzal Medical Superintendent Lady Aitchison Hospital was the Guest of honour

Guest Speaker and Facilitator was Dr. Noor -i- kiran Haris (Assitant Professor Medical Education ABWA medical college Faisalabad). Co-facilitator was Dr. Khadija Waheed (Associate professor Gynae / Obs FJMU).Senior faculty KEMU also attended conference.

Prof. Dr. Meher-un-Nisa warmly welcomed all guests and participants, introduced the agenda of workshop and explained how Artificial intelligence has revolutionized research process. Dr. Noor-i-Kiran Harris explained very well and simplified the use of AI tools like Elicit, Bard, ChatGPT, etc through different links with active involvement of participants having access to all links.

Prof. Asghar Naqi Registrar KEMU emphasized use of AI in healthcare field and appreciated efforts of Prof. Meher-un-Nisa and team for organizing such a useful event. Prof. Waris Farooqa explained role of AI in surgical field via video for simulation. Prof. Nadeem Mukhtar a renounced audiologist explained role of AI in his field.

Conference was concluded with distribution of shields and certificates by Registrar KEMU and chairperson organized workshop to facilitators, guests and participants.
