A Pre-Conference Workshop on Uterine Compression Sutures for Management of PPH was conducted in LAH/KEMU

A Preconference (43rd KEMCAANA KEMCAUK, APNA ) Workshop on ” Uterine Compression Sutures for Management of PPH” was conducted in Lady Aitchison Hospital Lahore KEMU LHR on Thursday, 14 December 2023 under chairmanship of Prof. Meher-un-Nisa (HOD Gyne Unit-4,LAH KEMU LHR).

Vice Chancellor KEMU LHR Prof. Dr. Mahmood Ayyaz was Patron-in-chief.

Alumini guest was Prof. Dr. Ayesha Malik (Dean Department of OBG in Ganga ram Hospital). Prof.Dr.Uzma Hussain Chairperson Department of OBG KEMU Guest of honour emphasized the importance of timely intervention in management of PPH through timely intervention by using different compression sutures. Prof. Dr. Ameer Afzal Medical Superintendent Lady Aitchison Hospital Lahore was Guest of Honor who admired the efforts of Prof. Dr. Meher -Un-Nisa for arranging this workshop.

Participants from different hospitals attended the workshop. Feedback was taken from candidates who found it very useful for their examination point of view as well patients benefit.

Workshop was concluded with distribution of shields and certificates to facilitators, guests and participants.
