Professor Javed Akram also inquired about the welfare of Ayman Qudsia and her mother Lubna Shaheen, a girl injured due to domestic violence in Mayo Hospital and inquired about the facilities provided to them. He ordered the on duty doctors to take better care of them.
Vice Chancellor KEMU Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz said that on the directives of Health Minister Professor Dr. Javed Akram, CEO Mayo Hospital Prof. M.Haroon Hamid and faculty of KEMU are supervising all these arrangements.

The administration of the university and the hospitals stated that providing the best medical facilities to the patients at KEMU attached Hospitals, in accordance with the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab and the Health Minister, is the mission of the doctors and staff, and they are committed to fulfilling this mission by serving humanity without any delay.
