CPC of the final year MBBS King Edward Medical University takes place fortnightly On March 15, 2024

CPC of the final year MBBS King Edward Medical University takes place fortnightly. On March 15, 2024 the following cases were presented:

1. Gossypiboma: An unusual avoidable cause of Intestinal Obstruction by South Surgical department.
2. A case of pyrexia of unknown origin in 50 years old male by North Medical Department.
3. The Anesthesia department discussed Anesthesia Concerns For Craniotomy.

All cases generated very healthy discussion.

Respected Vice Chancellor KEMU Prof. Dr. Mahmood Ayyaz and Registrar KEMU Prof. Dr. Asghar Naqi also attended the CPC Presentation. The Departments of Prof. Dr. Abrar Ashraf, Prof. Dr. Israr ul Haq toor, Prof. Dr. Farukh, presented their respective cases in detail and help students in understanding and developing concepts.

Presentation started by South Surgical Ward in which they explain the Management and risk factors of gossybipoma. From North Medical Ward, Prof. Dr. Israr ul haq toor explained Pyrexia of unknown origin and answer the questions of students. Anesthesia unit 2 explained the Anesthesia Concerns For Craniotomy in detail. Students were grateful to get a chance of learning from such great presentations.
