Dr. Fareena Sultan Professor of Marketing at the (DMSB), Northeastern University visited KEMU

Dr. Fareena Sultan Professor of Marketing at the D-Amore-McKim School of Business (DMSB), Northeastern University visited King Edward Medical University.

Prof Fareena is on sabbatical visit to Pakistan and her visit to KEMU was facilitated by Dr Somia Iqtadar Associate Professor of Medicine. She had a meeting with the Vice Chancellor, Pro VC Prof Ijaz Hussain, Registrar Prof Asghar Naqi, Dean Surgery and Allied Prof Shehzad Shams and was briefed about telemedicine and AI lab project of KEMU .

She was given a guided tour of University and telemedicine department where she interacted with residents and students. Prof Fareena is working on Metaverse, Artificial Intelligence (AI ) and telemedicine adoption in developed and developing countries and wishes to collaborate with KEMU telemedicine department and AI lab.

Prof Sultan’s Ph.D. in Marketing is from Columbia University. Dr. Sultan has also worked as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Harvard Business School for six years, a Visiting Associate Professor at UC Berkeley and an Associate Professor at Golden Gate University. She has been a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University and at the Center for E-Business, Sloan School, MIT.
