All worthy academic council members gathered today to bid farewell to Prof. Shahzad Shams, the esteemed Chairman of Neurosurgery and Dean of Surgery and Allied at KEMU. The farewell Academic Council meeting was a heartfelt tribute to Prof. Shams, recognizing his exceptional leadership and contributions to the field of neurosurgery and KEMU.

Prof. Shahzad Shams has been an integral part of the KEMU family for many years, leaving an indelible mark on the institution and its students. During the meeting, all the respected academic council members greeted Prof. Shahzad Shams, expressing their gratitude for his transformative leadership. On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz said that Prof. Shehzad Shams has a very kind and sincere personality and congratulated Prof. Shehzad Shams on his retirement. He said that Prof. Shahzad Shams worked tirelessly in King Edward’s Department of Neurosurgery during his service.

Like his name, he is bright himself and also bright to others. He further said that in the first time meeting after taking charge of the post as Vice-Chancellor, he realized how hardworking and a good administrator he is. He said that he successfully organized the KEMUCON. We pray that Allah Ta’ala bless him with more success and happiness in his future life.
