KEMU hosted the orientation ceremony for the students of Allied Health Sciences and Allied Vision Sciences

King Edward Medical University hosted the orientation ceremony for the students of Allied Health Sciences and Allied Vision Sciences. Vice Chancellor of King Edward Medical University Professor Mahmood Ayyaz was the chief guest of the event.

On this occasion, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Ijaz Hussain, Dean Allied Health Sciences/ Registrar KEMU Prof. Syed Asghar Naqi, Principal College of Ophthalmology and Allied Vision Sciences Prof. Muhammad Moin, Prof. Irfan Azmatullah Khawaja, Principal Rehbar Medical College Prof. Zahid Kamal Siddiqui, Prof. Ali Madeeh Hashmi, Prof. Iqbal Mirza, other faculty members and a huge number of students along with their parents were present.

The ceremony was inaugurated with the recitation of Holy Quran and Naat e Rasool Maqbool. Dr. Adnan Haider carried out the duties of the stage secretary.
On this occasion, Professor Syed Asghar Naqi said in his address to the participants that it is admirable for you to come to this historic medical university, you will get an opportunity to acquire medical knowledge and become the best of yourself. Health professionals have a very important role in the health sector without which the sector is incomplete. After getting your degree, you will have job opportunities at the tehsil and district level as well as all over the world. He said that today your parents deserve the best of congratulations because their efforts made this opportunity possible for you.

Vice Chancellor Professor Mahmood Ayyaz while expressing his views said that King Edward has always been the number one in terms of merit either MBBS or allied health sciences. He further said that you will be taught the skills and abilities to move forward in the world here. You are no less than anyone. You are a part of King Edward and you are a KEMCOLIAN. From now to onwards, you will be recognized by the name of King Edward Medical University.

He said that in this educational institution, you can avail the opportunity to adopt the diverse directions any field, you can get modern technology, education and training. Moreover he advised the students to get special education in artificial intelligence and robotics, because whoever achieves perfection in this world, people admire him. He further said that when you acquire modern medical skills, don’t forget your motherland and make it your life’s goal to serve the ailing humanity. You are the special people who have been chosen by Allah to serve humanity. If any suffering and helpless person comes to you, hold his hand and relieve his pain. This will give you numerous successes in life.

Professor Muhammad Moin said, “Congratulations to all the students. You will get immense opportunities to learn in this great institution. The environment and faculty here will be available for your support and will take the lead in improving your skills”. He further said that by acquiring knowledge from here, you will get opportunities to make your name and position in the whole world and you’ll be valued.

At the end of the ceremony Prof. Ijaz Hussain thanked the participants and congratulated the students of Allied Health Sciences and their parents.
