King Edward Medical University hosted the 21st Biennial International Surgical Conference SURGICON’ 23 by Society of Surgeons of Pakistan-Lahore Chapter. President CPSP, VC FJMU Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal was the Chief Guest on this occasion.

Many honourable surgeons from all over Pakistan attended the event. Two of the greatest surgeons Prof. Amir Aziz and Prof. Aamer Zaman received Life Time Achievement Award in lieu to their services for the field of Orthopaedic and General surgery from the Society of Surgeons of Pakistan.

Prof. Syed Asghar, President enlightened the work Society of Surgeons of Pakistan-Lahore Chapter. Annual report was presented by Dr. Umar Warraich, General Secretary of the Society of Surgeons of Pakistan-Lahore Chapter.

Vice Chancellor KEMU, Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz welcomed all guests to the historical patiala block of King Edward Medical University as the host of this event. He accorded fullest support to the society and threw light on the work and service of distinguished surgeons.
