Live Surgery Demonstration and Interactive Discussion: Pylorus Preserving Pancreatojejunostomy

LIVE SURGERY DEMONSTRATION AND INTERACTIVE DISCUSSION: PYLORUS PRESERVING PANCREATICOJEJUNOSTOMY by PROF IRFAN AHMED UNIVERSITY OF ABERDEEN & Team 14th Dec 2023.

Live demonstration and interactive session was held on Pylorus preserving pancreaticoduodenectomy. The surgery was carried out by Prof Irfan Ahmed and team in Mayo Surgical Tower while it was displayed live in the classroom of South Surgical Ward. A large number of participants witnessed the live surgery and took active part in the discussion.

The event was hosted by Prof Abrar Ashraf Ali. VC KEMU Prof Mahmood Ayyaz was the chief guest. Prof Asghar Naqi, Prof Ameer Afzal, Prof Uzair Ahmad Qureshi and Prof Yar Muhammad also graced the occasion.

The surgery was carried out smoothly. A lot of discussion on the surgery related queries was carried out between the surgical team and audience via audio visual link. A number of undergraduate students also expressed keen interest.

The event concluded with the vote of thanks and certificate distribution.
