On Kashmir Solidarity Day a walk was organized to express solidarity with the Kashmiris at Mayo Hospital Lahore.

Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University led the procession along with Chief Executive Officer of Mayo Hospital Prof. Ahsan Nauman, Chief Operating Officer Prof. Faisal Masood, Prof. Ameer Afzal, Prof. Yar Muhammad, Dr. Kashif Naseer, Dr. Suhail Niazi and including participation of doctors, nurses and paramedics.

The walk commenced from Mayo Hospital Emergency, with participants vehemently condemning the plight of their Kashmiri brethren.

During the event, Vice Chancellor Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz shared his thoughts, emphasizing that the purpose of observing this day was to stand in solidarity with the Kashmiris, denounce the atrocities inflicted upon them, and pay tribute to the martyrs.

Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz pledged continued moral, diplomatic, and political support from the Pakistani nation, sending a message to the world that the aspirations of Kashmiris should be acknowledged with the recognition of their separate identity and nationhood.
