Pre- Conference workshop on Endocrine Disorders in Pregnancy was held at LWH/KEMU

Today the ” Preconference workshop on Endocrine disorders in Pregnancy ” was held at Lady Willingdon Hospital , Lahore. The event organized by Prof . Kiren Khursheed Malik, under the umbrella of Gynae Department , KEMU. It was patronized and graced by Vice Chancellor, KEMU, Prof. Dr. Mahmood Ayyaz and Registrar KEMU Prof. Asghar Naqi.

The event started with Recitation from Holy Quran. It was followed by Welcome note by Dr. Madeeha Rashid and opening of the session by Prof. Kiren Khursheed Malik. Dr. Uzma Hussain , Chairman Department of Obs. and Gynae welcomed the distinguished guest from UK. , Prof. Tabinda Dugal and shared her views about endocrine disorders in Pregnancy. The audience included faculty of KEMU and postgraduate residents of LWH.

Prof. Tabinda Dugal , a consultant endocrinologist at Cornwell , deliberated very well on ” Spectrum of Primary Amenorrhea “. This was followed by four working stations related to work up of Primary amenorrhea, interpretation of semen analysis and female hormone reports, Polycystic Ovarian syndrome disease and Ovulation induction protocol.
