The KEMUCON 2023 Pre-Conference workshop on e-FAST, organized by the Department of Paediatric Surgery

The KEMUCON 2023 Pre-Conference hands-on workshop on e-FAST, organized by the Department of Paediatric Surgery under the patronship of Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz VC KEMU, featured a distinguished presence.

Prof. Mahmood Shoukat, a senior faculty member of Paediatric Surgery, emphasized the vital role of teaching activities in the institution. Prof. Abrar Ashraf Ali (Prof. of Surgery KEMU) shared insights on trauma patient management, underscoring the application of knowledge and skills in clinical settings.

Renowned Radiologist Prof. Imran Aslam, a KEMU alumni, provided a comprehensive overview of ultrasound basics. Dr. Muhammad Adil Iftikhar, the master trainer, guided participants on e-FAST scanning techniques.

The workshop, attended by 25 participants from various hospitals in Lahore and Gujrat, included ample hands-on practice supervised by the master trainer. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to participants by Acting Ward Incharge Dr. Muhammad Kashif Bashir.
