The world anatomy Day is celebrated ,by the department of Anatomy & histology, KEMU, with great zest & zeal. The esteemed vice chancellor Prof.Dr.Mahmood Ayyaz graced the occasion as chief guest with his dignified presence. The event was enlighten up by the sophisticated presence of Guests of honor.

Prof.Dr.Attiya Mubarik( professor of professors), Prof Dr.Syed Asghar Ali Naqi, Prof Dr.Abrar Ashraf Ali, Prof Dr.Nadia Khursheed, Dr.Riasat Ali (Registrar), Prof Dr.Ijaz Hussain(Pro.VC). Poster competition judgment was done by vice chancellor Prof.Dr.Mahmood Ayyaz and all the dignitaries .In poster competition DPT,BDS,1st year Mbbs,2nd year Mbbs,students showcased their extraordinary talent, innovative ideas, and outstanding creativity.

Stage secretary Dr.Faiza Hanif, started the formal proceedings of the day with the start of academic session, at first Prof.Dr. Syed Asghar Ali Naqi presented interesting topic of “Historical association of Anatomy and surgery”, next informative topic was presented by Chairperson & HOD of Anatomy Prof Dr.Farhana Sajjad “Use of Artificial intelligence in learning, teaching and assessment in Anatomy”.

Another subject grabbing the attention of audience was “Relevance of Anatomical disciplines with future specialties ” presented by Prof.Dr.Abrar Ashraf. Prof.Dr.Attiya Mubarik women of distinct vision and illuminating ideas talk about the ways of studying and learning anatomy, being an idle of wisdom, knowledge and experience she gave valuable advices to the young scholars.

Worthy chief guest, vice chancellor of KEMU while talking about his topic of “Robotics and Anatomy” made the gathering attentive and perceptive by viewing the anatomy using a Robot, as he is a leading Robotic surgeon in country and abroad. Brain storming of young scholars was done by Quiz competition conducted by Dr.Sania Asif. Cutting of an anatomical cake was done by all the dignitaries and nobility attending the function. Prizes like shields and certificates were distributed among the students for mushrooming and boosting their moral.

With the vote of thanks, souvenir was presented to Prof.Dr.Attiya Mubarik by vice chancellor KEMU,and to all guest of honour, At the end memento was presented by Chairperson & HOD of Anatomy Prof.Dr.Farhana Sajjad to vice chancellor Prof.Dr.Mahmood Ayyaz for his benevolence. And Prof Dr.Farhana Sajjad received her memento from vice chancellor for accomplishment of successful event. The event ended up with World Anatomy day walk with immense joy and happiness. Everyone enjoyed exploring the human body especially the Robotic technique. The journey of understanding human body is ongoing.
