Training of Trainers on ‘PPH bundle Approach 2023’ was organized by Gynae/Obs Department Unit V, LAH

Training of trainers on ‘PPH bundle approach 2023’ was organized by gynae/obs department Unit V, Lady Aitchison Hospital on 24 and 25 July 2023 under the Chairmanship of Professor Dr Nadia Khurshid in Lady Aitchison hospital. On PPH bundle approach was presided by Prof Dr Robina Sohail and her team. Prof Dr Mahmood Ayyaz was patron in chief. The objective of workshop was to successfully implement a comprehensive approach to PPH prevention and management, using strategies for births either at home or in a facility.

Workshop covered primary and refractory bundle of PPH through interactive stations. More than 30 FCPS/MRCOG qualified consultants and staff nurses from different hospitals participated. Vice Chancellor Prof.Mahmood Ayyaz appreciated the team efforts for organizing such a useful workshop that will help residents to improve their skills.

The Vice Chancellor interacted with the trainees, he taught fundamental principles of PPH prevention and management.Medical Superintendent Prof Dr Muhammad Haroon Hamid praised efforts of unit V for arranging such useful clinical activity.Interactive stations were organized in skills lab of unit V.Feedback was taken from participants of workshop who found this workshop very useful, they learned how to identify, prevent and manage PPH.Session was concluded with distribution of certificates.
