Training Session Organize for the faculty of Special Education under the Supervision of Principal COVAS/KEMU

A training session was organized for the faculty of Special Education Under the supervision of Professor Muhammad Moin, Principal College of Ophthalmology and Allied Vision Sciences KEMU.
Prof. Muhammad Moin and dignitaries from the special education department highlighted the previous efforts of Professor Emeritus Professor Asad Aslam Khan for the Prevention of Blindness special education department. During the session, the visiting teachers from different districts of Punjab were taken on a tour of the Department of Ophthalmology, Mayo Hospital, and the College of Ophthalmology. Professor Muhammad Moin exchanged information with the teachers during detailed sessions so that both departments can collaborate in the future to provide education and healthcare facilities to the students of Special Education, improving their quality of life. The teachers mentioned that teaching Braille and going through other training stages at a young age makes it easier to obtain opportunities for higher education. The organizers of this training session included psychologists and Speech Therapists Saima Ashraf, from the Department of Special Education, Communitythalmologist Dr. Arif Hussain, Staff Officer Mr. Hammad Hassan Farid, and Orthoptist Tayyiba Burhan from the Department of Ophthalmology.
