VC and Faculty KEMU Attended Hussnain Day Organized by KELS Urdu, KELS English and KEDS

Hussain’s timeless legacy belongs to all of humanity and it demands that we not only listen to his story but also take him as an inspiration to live our lives. To embody the selfless values of Hussain, KELS English ventured to join hands with KEDS and KELS Urdu to host an event in honor of Hussain (AS) Ibne Ali, the grandson of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.

The event was attended by worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mahmood Ayyaz and Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ijaz Hussain along with Prof. Dr. Syed Asghar Naqi(Staff Presidents KELS English and KEDS), Prof. Dr. Shahzad Anwar (DGP Human Organ Transplant authority), Prof. Dr. Asad Ali Shah (Medical Director MTH Lahore), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Raza Naqvi, Dr. Arif Hussain (Incharge Community Ophthalmology COAVS) and Dr. Aalia Muzaffar (Department of Pathology).

The students spoke at the event to highlight the lessons learned from the life of one of the most important figures in the history of Islam. Students paid homage through short speeches, English and Urdu poetry. Worthy Vice Chancellor spoke in the praise of Imam Hussain A.S. as well and appreciated the efforts of the students in arranging the wonderful event.
