VC KEMU conducted a comprehensive round of ongoing Revamping project of the Emergency Department of MHL

Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University conducted a comprehensive round of the ongoing Revamping project of the Accident & Emergency Department of Mayo Hospital. He was joined by Chief Operating Officer Prof. Ahsan Nauman, along with Dr. Salman Kazmi and Dr. Suhail Niazi.

Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz meticulously toured all the floors currently under renovation. He carefully examined every aspect of the work, including inspection of the quality of materials used and the progress in alignment with the proposed plan. He was briefed on the project’s advancement in accordance with the defined scope of work. Leveraging his extensive experience in managing substantial projects within a major medical institution and drawing from his personal career spent primarily at Mayo Hospital, Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz provided clear directives to the project team and contractor.

He stressed the critical significance of adhering to the project schedule and underscored the imperative of finishing the project within the specified timeframe. Both the Vice Chancellor and the Chief Operating Officer expressed their satisfaction with the ongoing work. It’s worth noting that this project constitutes the initial phase of the broader Mayo Hospital Revamping plan, an initiative of the Punjab Government.
