VC KEMU personally oversaw the revamping projects by conducting a extensive round of the ER Block of MHL

Leading from the front, the Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University, Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz personally oversaw the ongoing revamping project by conducting a comprehensive round of the Accident & Emergency Block of Mayo Hospital Lahore.

During his visit, Vice Chancellor was accompanied by the team of Mayo Hospital administration and department heads, conducting a meticulous tour of all 5 floors. The inspection covered every aspect of the work, including the material quality, workmanship, minute details and progress made in alignment with the proposed plan.

Thanks to diligent supervision and close oversight, the project of refurbishment of the A&E building is nearing completion. Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz, following the visit, chaired a meeting at the CEO’s office with the clinical departments and major stakeholders responsible for the working of A&E Department. Input was gathered from each member, and valuable suggestions were deliberated upon and included in the execution plan. A thorough assessment of the new A&E setup was conducted, and instructions regarding better workflow for enhanced patient care were incorporated into the management plan.
