Vice Chancellor of KEMU, warmly welcomed the new faculty member of the Orthopaedics department

Vice Chancellor of King Edward Medical University, Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz, warmly welcomed the new faculty member of the Orthopaedics department. Accompanied by the Chief Operating Officer of Mayo Hospital, Prof. Faisal Masood, and Prof. Rana Muhammad Arshad, as well as other faculty members, they engaged in a brief meet-and-greet session.

The new faculty member Dr. Muhammad Ali, an alumni of KE batch 2013, who got trained under Prof. Faisal Masood and previously served as a Senior Registrar in the same department. Dr. Ali topped the PPSC and has now joined as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Following the formal engagement, Vice Chancellor Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz and the faculty of Orthopaedics conducted a comprehensive tour of the Patiala block. It encompassed various completed and ongoing projects of historical significance, including the renovation of lecture theatres, the establishment of an archives museum, souvenir shop, as well as the preservation of historic records. Additionally, a faculty lounge has been envisioned, among other notable projects.
It is noteworthy that the horticulture of the university grounds is meticulously maintained, thanks to the keen interest and efforts of Prof. Rana Muhammad Arshad.
