INTRODUCTION OF DEPARTMENT

ENT at KEMU/ Mayo Hospital is the oldest Department of ENT in Pakistan. It currently resides in a building which was built in 1911 AD. ENT department has educated thousands of undergraduates and postgraduates since the inception of Pakistan. It has a rich tradition of research and patient care. It is recognized by PMDC, HEC and CPSP for postgraduate training. We currently have a very organized teaching program for undergraduates and postgraduates. A large number of research articles are published by ENT Department both nationally and internationally.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

  • Teaching and training of undergraduate students of MBBS and B. Sc., Hearing Sciences
  • Teaching and training of post-graduate students
  • Research in the subject of ENT
  • Provision of state of the art medical facilities to the general public commensurate to a tertiary care center.
