Foreign Faculty Lecture on Infection Prevention & Control in Pediatrics Under patronage of Vice Chancellor, Department of Pediatric Medicine (Unit-II), King Edward Medical University, Mayo Hospital Lahore, successfully organized a Foreign Faculty Lecture on Infection Prevention & Control in Pediatrics.
Prof. Mobeen Rathore delivered this talk. Dr. Rathore, a proud Kemcolian, is founding director of the University of Florida Center for HIV/AIDS Research, Education and Service (UF CARES). He is a professor and associate chair in the Department of Pediatrics – Jacksonville; and chief of the division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunology at University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. Prof. Muhammad Haroon Hamid, Chairman, Department of Pediatric Medicine, welcomed the guests.
The session focused on comprehensive approach to infection prevention & control measures in our daily practice. The session was attended by large number of faculty members, post-graduate residents, house officers and medical students. Prof. Muhammad Ashraf Sultan (Ex-Chairman, Department of Pediatric Medicine, & Member-Syndicate, KEMU) and Prof. Muhammad Ali (Visiting Faculty-Pediatric Endocrinology & Metabolism, KEMU) were the guest of honor. Prof. Muhammad Faheem Afzal (Head, Pediatrics Unit-II) thanked the guests & participants.
