A Milestone in Research Excellence!
The Department of Biochemistry, King Edward Medical University, in collaboration with the Advanced Research Center for Biomedical Sciences, successfully conducted the 1st Hands-on Workshop for Essential Skills in Molecular Biology.

The workshop was designed to equip doctors with the essential skill of DNA extraction.
Prof. Mohammad Imran, Registrar of King Edward Medical University, inaugurated the workshop with a warm welcome address. He emphasized the critical role of research in advancing medical sciences and thanked the organizing team for facilitating this valuable learning opportunity.
Prof. Dr. Mahmood Ayyaz, a distinguished academician and eloquent speaker, addressed the candidates about the significance of Molecular Biology research for doctors across various fields. He commended the Department of Biochemistry for initiating this series of well-structured and impactful hands-on workshops, which will undoubtedly benefit participants immensely.
Prof. Dr. Nakshab Chaudhry delivered a thought-provoking talk on the importance of molecular biology research in advancing medical science. He emphasized how research can revolutionize the diagnosis and treatment of various human diseases.
Dr. Muhammad Shakil and other skilled trainers provided hands-on training on DNA extraction techniques at the well-established Biochemistry lab of King Edward Medical University.
