Discussions and way forward for QS Rankings of 2023

The Quality Enhancement Cell King Edward Medical University has organized an online meeting with official representatives of QS international rankings. Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University Prof Khalid Masood Gondal chaired the meeting. Director Quality Enhancement Cell Prof Saira Afzal, Dean of Nursing and Chairperson Department of Medicine Prof Bilquis Shabbir, Director IT Mr Tariq Arfan, Deputy Director Mr. Farhan Qadir, Data Analyst Mr. Asim, Mr Ehtesham were present in the meeting on international rankings. The invited external resource person; Mr. Rami Awad , QS Regional Manager – Middle East & Africa and he emphasized the importance of international linkages, research and publications for QS rankings of the university.
Many questions are asked by the participants and answered in detail by the QS representative.
Prof Khalid Masood Gondal told about the progress and recent developments in King Edward Medical University to promote academic activities, collaborative partnerships, external linkages, research and publications. Especially Telemedicine services during COVID-19 pandemic situation has served more than 17,000 people from many countries around the world.
In the end, Farhan Qadir presented vote of thanks to the participants and guest speakers.
